Samridhi Fund Backs Natureland Organics

Natureland Organics, a producer and supplier of organic foods has raised an undisclosed amount from SIDBI’s Samridhi Fund to rampup its operations and also expand its market nationally.

The company works with a network of certified organic farmers and farms spread over 5,100 hectares of organically cultivated land and 3,200 farmers in different states of India with an aim to deliver fresh and seasonal produce.

The present range of food products that company offers are cereals, pulses, beans, spices, condiments, oils, ghee, processed food products and honey.

Based out of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, Natureland Organics has its reach in other states of India like Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh.

The Samridhi Fund was launched as a private sector development programme by Department for International Development (DFID) in partnership with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to provide capital to social enterprises in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and West Bengal.

It has made investments in companies like Rite Waiter, Kanungo Institute of Diabetes Specialities (KIDS), Shikhar Dairy and Gramco Infratech.
